Special Rituals Performed with Panchamrutha Abhishekam
– Call for Protection of Sanatana Dharma: Maraka Nagendra
Anantapur Urban (Janaswaram): Hanuman Jayanti celebrations were conducted grandly under the supervision of the temple committee near First Cross, Aravind Nagar in the city. A large number of devotees participated in the celebrations organized with the coordination of priest Nagendra and temple committee members. From 6 AM onwards, special rituals such as Panchamrutha Abhishekam, Aaku Pooja, and Vastralankarana were performed for Lord Hanuman. Later at 12 noon, Hanuman Chalisa recitation and Maha Naivedyam programs were held, followed by the distribution of sacred prasadam to devotees.
The chief guests of the event included BJP State Secretary Sandireddy Srinivas Reddy, Anantapur District President Konugondla Rajesh, District Secretary Narendra, and Aravind Nagar In-charge Maraka Nagendra Yadav. Speaking on the occasion, Maraka Nagendra Yadav expressed happiness over conducting Hanuman Jayanti celebrations with devotion and dedication. He said that protecting Sanatana Dharma is the responsibility of every Hindu and called upon youth to actively participate in spiritual and religious activities. He described Lord Hanuman, the devotee of Lord Rama, as a symbol of courage, devotion, and selfless service.
He further stated that spiritual awareness should grow in every household and assured that such religious programs would be organized on an even grander scale in the future. Leaders from Aravind Nagar including Keshava Reddy, Suresh Royal, Nani, Chandramohan Reddy, Nagendramma, Sridevi, Alekhya, Pratap, and Valmiki Malli Arjun also participated in the event. Hundreds of families from Aravind Nagar attended the celebrations with their families and received theertha prasadam of the deity. Organizers stated that Hanuman Jayanti and Sri Rama Navami celebrations would be conducted more magnificently in the coming years as well.
