Anantapur, February 24 (Janaswaram): The Rangapravesam ceremony organized by Kuchipudi Kalakendram at the Yogi Vemana University premises was held in a grand and culturally vibrant manner. The event, which highlighted the richness of traditional arts, witnessed the presence of art lovers, parents, and several distinguished guests. Noted poet Eluru Inganna and Kalanidhi Ammula Bhagavatar attended as chief guests and appreciated the young dancer’s talent. They emphasized that preserving Indian classical dance traditions is a collective responsibility.
Eleven-year-old talented dancer Sriram Ridhi from Anantapur district captivated the audience with her impressive performance. She presented Thillana, Shankara Chakra Thillana, and Neelamegha dance pieces with perfect rhythm, expression, and grace, earning widespread appreciation. Her command over classical technique and expressive gestures drew continuous applause from the audience. At the conclusion of the program, the chief guests presented mementos and certificates of appreciation to Sriram Ridhi. Guru N. Krishnamurthy Raju and her parents, Sriram Subramanya Prasad and Kakumani Vinate, expressed their happiness and pride. The Rangapravesam stood out as a memorable cultural event, bringing recognition to Kuchipudi Kalakendram.
